Tóm tắt
Objectives: To present the synthesis of silver nanoparticles (Ag-NPs) in solution by photochemical reduction method using hydroxyethyl cellulose (HEC) as a reducing agent as well as stabilizer of silver nanoparticles in solution. Subject and methods: The photochemical reduction reactions was carried out in solution and illuminated ultraviolet (UV) light with a wavelength of 254 nm. Results and conclusion: The size of Ag-NPs was determined by different methods such as ultraviolet-visible (UV-Vis) spectroscopy and dynamic light scattering (DLS). The antibacterial effects of these Ag-NPs had been studied on E. coli (ATCC 25922), P. aeruginosa (ATTC 27853) and S. aureus (ATC 29213).
* Keywords: Silver nanoparticles; Photochemical reduction; Disinfection.
