Tóm tắt
Objectives: To evaluate the plasma miR-29a, miR-146a and miR-147b expression in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). Subjects and methods: We recruited 105 patients with T2DM (patient group) and 93 healthy people (control group). The plasma miR-29a, miR-146a and
miR-147b expression in patients with T2DM were examined by real-time PCR. Result: The plasma miR-29a, miR-147b expression in patient group were significantly higher than in control group (p < 0.001). There was no statistically significant difference of plasma miR-146a expression
between two groups (p > 0.05). Conclusion: There is an increased in plasma miR-29a and miR-147b expression in type 2 diabetic patients, which may contribute to pathogenesis of type 2 diabetes mellitus.
* Keywords: Diabetes; mirco-RNA; Type 2 diabetes mellitus.
